An Evaluation of Communication Performance Based on the Quantitative Assessment of Antenna Interference Power Caused by Intra-EMC in Digital Wireless Equipment

(in English) A novel design method has been developed to evaluate a communication performance for Intra-EMC problems in digital wireless equipment. In our previous studies, we developed a design method that can estimate the optimal layout of a noise source using correlation between the magnetic field distributions of the noise source and that of the antenna. However, the conventional method has drawbacks in terms of the relative evaluation. In this paper, we have proposed a new design method to estimate the quantitative assessment of antenna interference power by using the weighted magnetic field product that is calculated from the magnetic field distributions of the noise source and the antenna. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified using a TEG to simulate a portable telephone. Further, we have confirmed a good proportional relationship between the weighted magnetic field product and the antenna interference power regardless of the structure of the noise source and the frequency. Consequently, it is verified that the proposed method can evaluate the communication performance in digital wireless equipment with Intra-EMC problems.
