[Invited Talk] Application of chaos communication into wireless transmission and the schemes for its performance improvement
Eiji Okamoto, Yuma Inaba (Nagoya Inst. of Tech.) RCS2014-8
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, the wireless security techniques ensuring physical layer security are drawing much attention as a scheme achieving secure and safe communications. Chaos communication is thought as one of the schemes ensuring the security. The chaos signals are useful in engineering because the chaos is easy to be generated by deterministic nonlinear equation, unpredictable in a finite range, and having randomness as irregular drifts. In the chaos communication applying the chaos signal into communication, some additive functions, for example, physical layer security, channel coding effect, and efficient optimal solution search can be obtained by the chaos properties, and they are much studied in recent years. In this paper, these chaos communication schemes are introduced and the pros and cons of the application of chaos signal into wireless communication are discussed. Then, the improvement scheme of chaos multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission is proposed.
