The world’s first embedded NAND storage device controller with Unified Memory (UM) has been demonstrated. UM achieves 2 times faster random read and 10 times faster random write by suppressing the number of NAND accesses. A dedicated HW engine with an original command scheduling improves random read up to 7 times faster. 2 lanes of low-power 5.8Gbps M-PHY is equipped to attain bandwidth over 600MB/s. It attains performance of 66.3KIOPS random read and 690MB/s sequential read. |
