| (in English) | Tree drawing tests, in which patients draw a picture of a tree with nuts, have often been used in psychosomatic internal medicine as a conventional psychological test. In our system, a patient’s picture was analyzed with an image processing method, and its characteristic quantities, such as gray levels and drawing volume, were calculated. We revealed the relationship between those indices and their mental conditions such as their depression scale using multiple regression analysis. In addition, we built a new method of classifying pictures of tree-drawing tests using mahalanobis distance. As a result, we developed a new support system of diagnosis in psychosomatic internal medicine featuring analysis of tree-drawing tests. | |
