Analysis for Influential Postings on Twitter
Yuki Nakada, Eiji Kamioka (Shibaura Inst. of Tech.) MoNA2013-78
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) As tools of personal publishing, microblogs such as Twitter, social networking services such as Facebook, and so forth are gathering attention. Their tools enable the users to transmit information easily in real time. Each posting catches only some user’s attentions, and then they are buried in other information because of the huge amount of information. This study aims at obtaining the characteristics of posting which influences the readers, starting with a hypothesis that the feedback from the readers depends on the grammatical features of the posting. In this paper, two approaches will be proposed to clarify the relation between the influential posting and the grammatical features and the effectiveness will be discussed.
