Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) One of the important aspects of history learning is to learn lessons from historical events and to make use of them in the present life. However, current history learning focuses on knowing historical events, not discovering lessons. Lessons can be acquired by judging results of typical patterns of historical events. Typical patterns are grasped by generalizing historical events and finding common patterns from several of them. In this study, we propose a method of learning lessons from historical events and develop a learning system which supports learners to discover lessons from given historical events.
