Data Aggregation Scheme on Shared Link by both Delaying Segment Transmission Increasing Window Size of TCP for Power-saving of Network Equipment

(in English) One of the power-saving scheme of network equipments is to control link transmission rate dynamically at output ports in switches/routers according to the amount of trac on them since the power consumption of the ports increases as their transmission rate.
So far, we have proposed the scheme by delaying segment transmission at some TCP senders according to the number of TCP connections on the link for power saving. This scheme results in increasing the low power period at the tagged link as the delaying time whereas the transmission time of the TCP connection also increases.
Therefore in this paper, we extend the scheme to revise the window control of TCP by expanding the current congestion window size whenever their transmission is delayed, and investigate the impact of the delaying time and the increasing window size to both transmission and power-saving performance.
