In training sequence (TS) inserted block transmission, since the TS can be utilized for channel estimation, no
pilot block is needed. In this paper, using RLS-based frequency-domain channel estimation (RLS-CE) with polynomial
prediction, we evaluate a bit error rate (BER) performance of TS inserted orthogonal frequency division multiplexing
(TS-OFDM) transmission and single-carrier (TS-SC) transmission under doubly-selective (time- and frequency-selective)
fading channel. |
