Study on RF Characteristics of Transmission Line Employing Periodic Structures on PES Substrate

(in English) Of all flexible materials, PES (polyether sulfone) has drawn attention for application to transparent flexible display due to its good heat-resisting property, high transparency and good flexibility. Especially, unlike other flexible substrates, such as PC (polycarbonate) and PET (poly[ethylene terephthalate]), the soldering and bonding process for the electron devices on PES can be easily performed, which facilitates a packaging process of electron devices on a semiconducting substrate. Therefore, we have developed the RF flexible devices on PES substrate. In this work, we introduce the recent research for the RF transmission lines on PES, which have been published in several papers.
