Study on Access schemes for Disaster Network System employing UAV

(in English) Currently, there are a lot of issues to locate the missing person due to a large-scale earthquake disaster. The establishment of a rapid rescue system for the disaster site will be very important in the future. In this study, we utilize Unmanned Aircraft that can fly in the disaster areas called Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to locate the missing person by flew over the site and taking pictures information , also exchanging information with the sensor technology. UAV is commonly used as a reconnaissance aircraft in China and United States, however we propose a model to use UAV as a searching machine, by means of sensor technology. The purpose of this proposed model is to create a system that can locate the missing person using the signal transmitted between UAV and the wrist watch transponder. We fabricate the wrist watch transponder and measure the system performances including transmission success rate between UAV and the sensors for the communication quality, average transmission delay, bit error rate and packet error rate.
