Study on Transmit Power Control for Device to Device Direct Communication underlaying LTE-Advanced Network

(in English) Proximity Service (ProSe), which enables user equipment (UE) to discover other UEs in proximity and to communicate directly without passing core network, is being standardized as an important factor of LTE-Advanced in 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). In this paper, focusing on the improvement of spectral efficiency, we present simulation results of system performance with D2D communication in cellular’s uplink bandwidth considering Transmit Power Control for ProSe.
