Multi-Tiers Route Design Method for Providing Sustainable Optical Paths with Various QoSs

(in English) In recent years, many researchers have been engaging in QoS guarantees across inter/intra domain as well as the extensions to larger capacity and wider area in optical network. In addition to traditional applications such as Web services, various applications such as ultra-high definition video streaming are becoming more common over today's Internet. These applications require multi-level QoS guarantees. Using TE, network providers need to efficiently manage resources and provide consistent QoS. However, in all-optical network, an existence of physical layer impairment limits maximum transmission distance of optical signals to satisfy QoS requirements. Considering networks which provide optical paths with various QoSs, there are traditional heuristic methods that pre-compute routes in the order of high quality's paths. In these methods, network does not sustainably provide paths with lower QoSs due to lack of a whole route optimization. In the paper, we propose multi-tiers route design method to solve these problems. We also evaluate its effectiveness by computer simulation.
