From the viewpoint of the applications of disaster prevention and mitigation, fishery, environment and entertainment, water-surface and terrestrial-phenomena sensing of the sea, lake, dam and river is an important technology. In this paper, we propose two novel schemes of the water-surface sensing technology, a polarization modulation scheme and an optical beam path separation scheme. We also clarify the configurations and basic optical characteristics of the schemes. |
