Design of Eigenvalue Multiplexed Multi-level Modulation Optical Transmission System

(in English) The eigenvalue of the associated eigenvalue equation of the nonlinear Schr"{o}dinger equation (NLSE) is mathematically invariable.
Therefore, the eigenvalue is an ideal information carrier in nonlinear dispersive fiber, and we have proposed an optical transmission system based on eigenvalue modulation.
In this report, we report on a design of eigenvalue multiplexed multi-level modulation optical transmission system.
First, we show an eigenvalue multiplexing method using square pulses which amplitude and pulse width are modulated.
We also show another eigenvalue multiplexing method using two soliton solution which have two designed eigenvalues.
The two soliton solution can be derived by the inverse scattering transform.
