An FPGA based real-time simulation of Switching Converters

(in English) By development of semiconductor technology, digital control has become popular in power electronics field. However, it is usually difficult to use the actual target at the stage of control software development in terms of cost and safety. Therefore, it is expected to substitute Real-Time Simulator for the actual target. Although the development of real-time simulator is not easy in the field of power electronics due to the high control frequency, by using FPGA and a calculation method specialized for the real-time calculation, it enables to construct the simulator corresponding to the switching frequencies above 100 kHz.
