In regional portal sites that are operated by local governments to provide information about such as sightseeing and disaster prevention, event invitation, disaster-related information, traffic information, etc. are posted. However, because most of this information is collected by human assistance manually, these portal sites cannot respond unofficial events and sudden and unexpected incidents and therefore real-time property is not generally high. The purpose of this study is to extract hot topics in specific areas using twitter stream. Moreover we implement an application to extract hot topics in the peripheral area of the user’s current location and provide it comprehensibly. |
