In recent years, it is concerned that the radiation noise from the electronic devices of the EV and HV vehicle is received by in-vehicle AM radio.
For suppressing the magnetic leakage of radio waves mounted in the AM radio frequency band, it is necessary to establish the evaluation methods that target three-dimensional structures, such as the chassis.
In this study, an analysis model was developed for evaluating the leakage of radio waves from the aperture of the chassis in the frequency band.
First, aluminum boards constituting the chassis and the coil as noise source were modeled.
Next, the modeled aluminum board and coil is applied to the analysis model of the chassis, and its magnetic shield effect was simulated.
As a result, the simulated shield effect as a function of frequency agreed well with the measured one, and it was indicated that the shield effect of the chassis were able to be evaluated by the electromagnetic simulation. |
