Distribution of composition on Ag cathode surfaces heated after occurrence of break arcs

(in English) Break arcs are generated in a DC48V and 12A resistive circuit. Composition distribution on contact surfaces eroded by break arcs is analyzed by EPMA. Then the contacts are heated to 100,180, and 240℃ and this composition distribution is analyzed again. The following results are obtained. For heated to 100℃, detection level of Ag and O little changed before and after heating. In the case of the contact is heated to 180℃ and 240℃, Ag detected after heating increases, and O decreases.
