Moving human body causes significant shadowing resulting in a large propagation loss in 60GHz band ultra-high-speed multi-Gbps WLAN. In order to solve this problem, FST(Fast Session Transfer) from millimeter-wave band to microwave band and multi-band ARQ(Automatic Repeat request) using both frequency bands are proposed for frequency cooperative WLAN. In order to evaluate the performance of the above-mentioned techniques, it is necessary to dynamic channel model with temporal and frequency characteristics of shadowing. This paper describes temporal and frequency characteristics of shadowing caused by moving human body by using a ray tracing method. |
