| (in English) | This paper evaluates how a VoIP phone service with binaural 3D audio, which is proposed by the authors, gives a sense of presence to a user by experiment. In this experiment, the authors use sounds which are recorded means of by the binaural recording with seven actual heads. Then, they perform an evaluation for a sense of presence by utilizing the eight terms for evaluation. Moreover, the paper evaluates the sound source localization. The above results show that our proposed service can improve a sense of presence. In addition to this issue, the results of the factor analysis indicate that the service especially strengthens the two aspects of the sense of presence: ``naturalness'' and ``reality''. The paper also shows that a degree of user's sense of presence depends on a combination of a listener and a head that used in recording(a speaker's head). | |
