A sparse signal processing (Compressed/Compressive Sensing) for Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation is
expected to be used for various application, because this method is able to separate correlated waves and able to realize higher
angular resolution than a conventional beamformer method. However a performance of angular estimation with a sparse signal
processing depends on a parameter which controls a sparsity of solution, and there is only a determination method which is
high computational cost.
In this report, we propose the method which is computationally efficient to determine this parameter sequentially using
information of incident signal power. Furthermore we evaluate a performance of DOA estimation by a sparse signal processing
which proposed method has been applied. The result of this evaluation shows that we can stably estimate two incident signals
with 8 degree separation on 8-elements array. |
