Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Linear simultaneous equations based on linear measurements have `a true solution', however, it is not possible to uniquely determine the true solution from the linear equations if the number of equations is less than that of unknowns in general. Compressed sensing is a theoretical framework to obtain the true solution from the underdetermined linear systems when we have a prior information that the solution is sparse. In this paper, we firstly review the linear equations as ill-posed inverse problems. Then, we introduce problems settings and basic ideas of compressed sensing. Finally, we introduce some applications of compressed sensing to communications systems.
