Control Characteristics Improvement by Leakage Inductance in a Full-Bridge Converter with Snubber Capacitor

(in English) A high-voltage isolated dc-dc converter to be used in an HVDC power distribution systems has a big problem of high-voltage surge occurrence across secondary-side rectifying diodes. In order to solve this problem, a simple solution with a snubber capacitor has been proposed. From the results, this solution has a prominent effect of surge-voltage suppression effect. But, it deteriorate the control characteristics. In this paper, the control characteristics of this converter are analyzed by the state-space averaging method, and the effect of the circuit parameters on their deterioration is clarified. From this analysis results, the improvement of Control characteristics by leakage inductance is proposed.
