For developing the reliable system using the inter-vehicle communications, system should be designed with a propagation model considering a power loss due to obstructing vehicles. By applying a model for estimating the number of path obstructions developed by authors which estimates a number of vehicles obstructing the radio propagation paths in a city street to ray-tracing calculation, we can estimate a path loss with effect of obstructing vehicles. But in an actual development field, more tractable mathematical model is desired. In this paper we show the path loss calculation method applied a model for estimating the number of path obstructions, and develop the propagation model having traffic density and power loss per an obstruction as one of parameters by multiple regression analysis. |
