MIMO Spatial Crrelation and Capacity using Ray Trace Method for Low Antenna Height in Urban Area

(in English) MIMO spatial correlations and capacities in short range with a moving are studied using a ray trace method. The studied environment is an urban area concentrated buildings, and heights of a transmitted and a received antenna (base site 10 m and mobile site 1.5 m) is lower than those of the buildings (40-50 m). A channel matrix is calculated using amplitudes, radiated angles, arrived angles, and delay times from the ray trace, and we get the spatial correlation coefficients, the average eigenvalues, and the average capacities. As a result, it’s cleared that the correlation coefficients depend on orientation of the antenna array and distance between the transmitted and the received point, and that the orientation and the distance also affect the eigenvalues and the capacities.
