Pulse duty ratios of transmission power controlled pseudolites in a city area
Satoshi Takahashi (Hiroshima City Univ.) CS2013-86
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A pseudolite, or in short, pseudolite is a ground transmitter that broadcasts signals as the same format as the navigation satellites broadcasts. It enables us to augment the availability of satellite navigation. However, a pseudolite has on an excessive power to the receiver, and it often blocks satellite signals. A method of alleviating the near-far problem by reducing transmission power step-by-step has been proposed. In this paper, the number of available pseudolites and the intereference. Results showed the method could make use of two pseudolite signals.
