(in English) We investigate characteristics of a wavelength-tunable actively and harmonically mode-locked fiber ring laser employing a bismuth-oxide-based highly nonlinear erbium-doped fiber. This bismuth-based fiber is used as both a wideband gain medium and a noise suppressor.
