Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Radar interference will become a crucial issue of shipborne radars, in the course of widespread of radars transmitting long pulses with a solid state transmitter. In order that radars withstand the severe interference in the future, we have developed a radar capable of the interference rejection adaptively-controlled based on spatial, chronological, and frequency information. Particularly, the spatial information is acquired though the antenna for multiple-output multiple-input (MIMO) radars. We conducted computer simulation and field experiments to evaluate the performance of the adaptive control of interference rejection, consequently confirming that our technique succeeded in sufficiently rejected severe interference.
