| (in English) | Information produced by a sensor can be either physical measurement or state or context. A state is usually produced by combining physical measurements and other determined states. We define a common object model which can be applied both to physical sensors and virtual (logical) sensors. The common object model comprises a sensor ID, a device discovery mechanism, data publish, subscription and polling and sensor tasking. This modelling facilitates the integration of complex sensor system and also the discovery of virtual sensor which produces even non-standardized data. This paper also provides the overview of our implementation, with Electronic Product Code (EPC) as sensor ID, UPnP for device discovery, and Web system for data publishing and polling. A demonstration system to notify wasteful lighting with synthetic voice in a separate room is also introduced. | |
