| (in English) | The cognitive temporary bypassing (CTB) method was proposed to improve the transmission reliability of wireless ad hoc networks. It autonomously creates a temporary bypass link when a transmission error happens on a link. In this paper, we analyze the packet transmission success rate with this protocol considering the location of two neighboring nodes on a two-dimensional plane. The results of theoretical calculation show that some node location limits the improvement of bypassing. A prioritization method based on timing control of CTB control messages is proposed, which chooses a bypassing node with higher bypassing capability. The packet transmission success rate is increased by the use of this prioritization method. | |
