Code design for Distributed SISO Convolutional Code for Two-way Relay Channels

(in English) We have previously proposed the distributed SISO convolutional coding for one-way relay channel and discussed its optimal coding criterion. This paper expands it to two-way relay channel and discusses its code design. Different from one-way relay channel, individual relay nodes, in two-way relay channel, receive the signal combined two sources' signals, which leads to significant performance degradation of the detection at the relay nodes. Thus, if the relay nodes exploit such a bad results for the input of SISO encoder, the distributed SISO system cannot enjoy coding gain. On the other hands, the optimal design of the distributed SISO coding for one-way relay channel is to assign the code with the $k$th largest generator sequence weight (GSW) to the relay node with the $k$th largest input SNR. Considering the relationship between the additional coding gain from the distributed SISO and the input SNRs to SISO encoder, we propose and investigate three types of SISO encoding schemes.
