Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have proposed the UWB-IR phase modulation using pulse position modulation and its demodulation method by down-conversion with twice phase shift. In this paper, we examine to separate even bits and odd bits of OOK UWB-IR as orthogonal signals. This can expand bit period to decrease intersymbol interference and enable faster transmission without modulators for pulse-position modulation. We experiment 6.6 Gb/s OOK UWB-IR. Then the Q factor is over 6 considerd to be error-free to 2m radio transmission distance.
