| (in English) | In recent years, the popularity of large contents such as high-definition video and music is increasing content server loads and the amount of traffic on backbone networks. When a user obtains a content, he/she needs to resolve the content name (ID) as well as content server location. To mitigate the above problem, we have already proposed, a Mapping Server with Cache-location Resolution (MSCR), which resolves prospective cache locations (PCLs) close to the requesting user, and com rmed the efficiency by some simulations. In this paper, we introduce an improved version of MSCR, named MSCR with Cache Suppression (MSCR/CS) which suppresses excess cache duplication of high popularity contents in a netowrk in order to increase the variety of content caches that enable users to obtain a content within the network. | |
