Study on Resource Allocation for Device to Device Direct Communication underlaying LTE-Advanced Network
Chiharu Yamazaki, Takahiro Saiwai, Masato Fujishiro, Kugo Morita (KYOCERA) RCS2013-198
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Proximity Service (ProSe), which enables user equipment (UE) to discover other UEs in proximity and to communicate directly without passing core network, is being standardized as an important factor of LTE-Advanced in 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). In this paper, we present simulation results of system performance with D2D communication in cellular’s uplink bandwidth in various resource usage ratios between ProSe and cellular focusing on the improvement of spectral efficiency.
