Throughput performance for field experiments in MU-MIMO Systems

(in English) In this paper, field experimental results for downlink MU-MIMO (multiuser MIMO) system in mobile WiMAX system are analyzed. Computer simulations in MU-MIMO system based on the BD (Block Diagonalization) algorithm are carried out and we compared with the performances obtained from the field experiment and computer simulation. The results of the field experiment show that the maximum throughput in the case of 1 user reception is 13 Mbps and the maximum throughput in the case of MU-MIMO with 2 users becomes 23 Mbps under the Rayleigh fading environment. Furthermore, the maximum throughput measured in the field experiment is almost the same performance as the maximum throughput in the computer simulations.
