As a recovery system of waste heat energy, thermoacoustic system based on thermoacoustic effect has been studied. For effectively use of waste heats of electronic equipment, it is necessary to miniaturize thermoacoustic system. However, there are a few studies on miniature thermoacoustic system and a designing method of miniature thermoacoustic system is not established. Examination of effects of system forms on onset temperature and sound field in system and establishment of designing method are urgently needed. In this report, effect of stack length and stack position on onset temperature of miniature thermoacoustic prime mover was examined. Experimental results were compared with onset temperature calculated with stability analysis, witch expected as a designing method of system. |
