Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We examined the differences in emotions and body movements of dance learners in the presence and absence of an audience. We evaluated emotions using the Japanese version of the Positive Negative Affect Schedule and completed a frequency analysis of movement data after motion capture. The results showed the scores of both positive and negative emotions increased in the presence of an audience. Degree of development and the frequency differences in body movements were observed between the presence and absence of an audience. In addition, these results showed that dance movements were affected by the presence or absence of an audience.
