Interactive Volume Visualization Method Using High-dimensional Feature Space

(in English) We propose an interactive volume visualization method based on high-dimensional feature space. In conventional methods, transfer functions (TFs) are used to map scalar values in the volume data to color and opacity. In some case, quality of visualization is low because of imaging device, and complexity of the object in images. A method using locally shifted TF was proposed to tune visualization results. We propose a method using region of interest (ROI) and high-dimensional feature space to extend locally shifted TF for general purpose. We applied this method to two-photon microscopic images and confirmed effectiveness.
