Bifurcation boundaries of quasi-periodic oscillation

(in English) A two-torus and a three-torus have been a subject of intense research
in recent years. There is a hypothesis concerning the boundary between
a two-torus generating region and a three-torus generating
region. This hypothesis may puzzle many reserchers because it is
difficult to distinguish whether it holds or not although it seems to
be a reasonable one at first glance. To verify this hypothesis, we
conduct a detailed Lyapunov analysis for a coupled delayed logistic
map, and show that the sadle-node bifurcation of unstable periodic points does not coincide with the bifurcation boundary between one-dimensional
ICC and two-dimensional invariant torus. In addition, by lyapunov analysis a coupled delayed logistic map and Henon map, we show that the boundary of torus-doubling does not coincide with a period-doubling bifurcation point of the unstable periodic points.
