We have investigated flashover voltage(VFO) between foil conductors on printed wiring board (PWB) against ESD surge. At printed wiring board in electrical and electronic equipment, PWBs are laminating. In this regard, effectively using back electrode (BE) is desired. In this paper, using PWB with BE, we investigated the gap length dependence of FOV between foil conductors on PWB. And, we analyzed the electric field distribution in changing gap length, considered the relationship between electric field strength and VFO, compared the experimental results to Toepler’s equation. And, From the point of view of emission, we considered influences of BE on the radiation electromagnetic waves generated at FO. |
