The utility form of the Internet has changed from traditional inter-user communication into communication based on content delivery services, as the use of content delivery services over the Internet has become more attractive and widely spread. Therefore, Content-Centric Networking (CCN), which are designed for content delivery services, are attracting much attention. In CCN, it is expected that cache storage on relay nodes will be utilized effectively. However, if the number of forwarded chunks exceeds the cache storage capacity, the frequent cache updates of cache storage will decrease how much information can be used from stored chunks. In this study, we propose a caching scheme based on request history to improve cache storage utilization efficiency. Furthermore, we show its effectiveness through simulations. |
