Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Phase-contrast imaging is useful technique in observing the refractive index structure of biological tissue cells. We proposed phase-contrast optical microscopy combined with active image processing, which has some advantages of the separate amplitude and phase contrast imaging, reduction of multiple scattering effects, and highly spatial resolution. Biological tissue cells are observed by the constructed imaging microscope using oblique illumination and scanning microscopy using annular illumination, and investigated the features.
