The authors have been conducting Research and Development of Satellite-terrestrial integrated mobile communication system (STICS) so far. Satellite antenna employs a deployable mesh reflector with a diameter of 30m class. Power feeding part is the array antenna 100 elements, and performing side lobe control and beam control by DBF(Digital beam forming). The beam forming of the service area, and the ultra-multi-beam forming technology, beam control by the reflection mirror surface is required. And, I evaluate in the Ka-band array antenna because I requires consideration of the antenna beam of 100 class elements. In this report, we make a measurement of 100 class element array antenna characteristics as the initial evaluation of the satellite antenna. |
