A Soft-Decision Sphere Decoding Based on a Recursive Vector Generator Using Euclidian Distance

(in English) A soft-decision sphere decoding algorithm for general binary linear codes is proposed. The algorithm is based on a modified recursive vector generator previously proposed by the authors. The algorithm can be applied
for codes that do not have special structures. Simulation results of the algorithm for codes of length up to 128 show the algorithm’s effectiveness.
