Proposal of Highly Accurate Time Synchronization Method in a System with Redundant Time Masters

(in English) At the line of the factory, it is necessary to synchronize a control timing of the control apparatus to realize higher productivity. The function to synchronize the time of each control apparatus referred to for the decision of the control timing is called time synchronization function. Recently, it becomes common to install a redundant time master to prevent a productivity drop by the trouble of the time master. In this paper, we propose a method to calculate a highly accurate time with reference to the standard time which a time slave is delivered by some time masters. This method reduces a gap by setting the time of time slave averaged time of time master with small gap. By desk analysis, we confirmed that the time gap with this method is always smaller than the time gap without this method in system with three time master.
