| (in English) | In recent years, wireless networks have been utilized in many situations. However, further increase of network capacity is essential in order to transfer large volume traffic generated by various clients and applications. By introducing multi-channel environment, network capacity is increased while avoiding packet collisions and interferences. On the other hand, Network Coding (NC) improves channel utilization by increasing the effective packet transfer rate on a channel. However, these technologies were researched on separately. In this paper, we propose adaptive cooperation between multi-channel network and NC. Specifically, we control operation channel of each wireless station so that NC operation is promoted on each channel in multi-channel wireless LAN. Finally, we show the effectiveness of proposed method by computer simulation. | |
