| (in English) | We developed the pointing and calling recognition system in the simulator for train-driver's practice. Quantitative evaluation is enabled by evaluating the safety check, such as pointing and calling, automatically, in addition to the usual evaluation of drive technique. It will improve the quality of training and be able to carry out training for many students in a few instructors. The system detects and recognizes each three elements (recognizing signal and signs, pointing and calling) which is thought to be needed for evaluating the pointing and calling automatically, by using eyes tracker, range image sensor, and microphone. We developed the system which evaluates pointing and calling automatically, through development of choice or evaluation of sensor and pointing detection algorithm. | |
