For estimating a user's location, GPS (Global Positioning System) is very popular.
GPS estimation usually needs four or more satellites.
No obstacles should be on the line of sight from a GPS receiver to such satellites.
However, there are many buildings in urban area.
The receiver tends to receive wrong signals.
The problem is that the receiver cannot get direct path signal from each of satellites simultaneously.
This case leads to reduction in estimation quality.
In this paper, we introduce a novel estimation algorithm so that it can estimate own position with as low number of satellites as possible. |
