Clutter Reduction Beam-Steering Method for an Angle Estimation of a Target

(in English) In this paper, we consider clutter reduction in radar signal processing. When the clutter has the same property with a target in distance and/or velocity, the reducing method operates based on information of angular difference between the target and the clutter. In such case, observed power of the clutter is reduced by null-beam pattern of a random antenna-array forward the clutter direction. However, the random antenna-array causes an estimation error of the target direction.
We propose a clutter reduction method with a constraint of array-patterns around the target direction. The proposed method can reduce the estimation error of the target direction. Moreover, simulation results show the validity of the proposed method.
