| (in English) | Objective evaluation of psychological states remains an important problem. The comfort vector model (CV model) proposed by Yoshida is to use the alpha wave fluctuation in the prefrontal lobes to estimate the psychological states as a point in the comfort level surface consisting two orthogonal axes, pleasant-unpleasant and excited-calm. We used two kinds of sound stimuli (scary, soothing) in the present study for the affective elicitor to evaluate the psychological responses in a group of twenty-three graduate students by CV model. We investigated the relationship among the evaluated results by CV model, the self-reported ratings and the baseline states. We considered that the baseline states affect the psychological response as well as the differences in sound perception processes. The results suggest that the CV model is valid for the psychological evaluation to sound stimuli. | |
